Jiaqi Yan
Physiotherapist
Movement has always been a core part of Jiaqi’s identity. From competitive basketball and swimming to his current training as an avid lifter and gym-goer, he’s developed a lasting appreciation for how the human body moves—and a deep curiosity about how it all works. This passion for understanding the body and helping others move better is what ultimately inspired him to pursue a career in physiotherapy. Jiaqi holds a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. He is certified in Clinical Acupuncture, Dry Needling, Intramuscular Stimulation, and Neuro-Functional Assessment. He uses a wide range of tools to assess, treat, and guide individuals back to optimal movement and performance.
Treatment Philosophy
Jiaqi believes in treating the body as a whole—going beyond just the site of pain to uncover and address the root cause of dysfunction. Rather than simply chasing symptoms, he uses a comprehensive approach that combines manual therapy, personalized exercise prescription and strengthening, movement-based rehab, acupuncture, dry needling, and intramuscular stimulation to promote long-term, sustainable healing. His goal is not only to get clients moving and feeling better, but to empower them with the tools, knowledge, and habits they need to take control of their own health. Whether you’re recovering from injury, managing pain, or working toward performance goals, Jiaqi is committed to helping you live a fulfilling, independent, and active lifestyle—doing what you love with confidence and strength.
