Physiotherapy
Real pain relief solutions starts with a real assessment — not a five-minute diagnosis.
Whether it's persistent back pain, a nagging joint issue, or an injury that isn't resolving, effective treatment depends on identifying what's actually causing it. Our physiotherapists take the time to find the real cause — then treat it, not just the symptom sitting on top of it.
THE PROBLEM
Not all physiotherapy is the same — and that difference shows up in your results.
Two people can walk into two different clinics with the same complaint and leave with completely different outcomes, because the quality of the assessment, and the experience behind it, varies enormously between practitioners. A rushed assessment leads to generic treatment — heat, a few stretches, some general advice — that might ease things temporarily without addressing why the pain started, or why it keeps coming back.
A thorough assessment from an experienced physiotherapist finds the actual mechanical cause — not just where it hurts, but why — which is what makes the difference between short-term relief and a lasting result.
THE SOLUTION
What a proper assessment and treatment plan looks like
1. Comprehensive Assessment
A full evaluation of your pain, movement, and history — not a quick surface-level check, but a genuine investigation into the underlying cause, drawing on years of clinical experience to catch what a less thorough assessment misses.
2. A Tailored Recovery Plan
A clear plan addressing both pain relief now and the underlying cause going forward — so treatment isn't something you need to keep coming back for indefinitely.
3. Hands-On Treatment
Manual therapy, dry needling, and targeted techniques suited to your specific pain presentation — delivered by a team of physiotherapists who are trained to select the right approach for you, not a standard protocol applied regardless of cause.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
I’ve been dealing with what seems to be a tendon relatedissue in my foot recently and have been having ongoing treatment with Jiaqi whilst Kieran Rogers oversees my recovery. I must say the attention to detail & client care is second to none and I have no hesitation to refer any of my own clients or friends to see the guys at momentum. A professional & friendly Physiotherapy clinic located in the heart of Central! - Rob Fogerty
I started seeing Aislinn for my chronic knee pain and general upper body stiffness and aches. She is super knowledgeable, personable and follows up. She is so thoughtful to make sure that we are always progressing and not just relieving the pain and aches in that moment. I must admit I had little faith in physiotherapy and she has completely changed my mind! The clinic is very clean and professional. I appreciate how automated the booking system is and also how I receive a progress report with exercises between sessions. - Jaime Lo
I had been dealing with knee pain in my right knee since Dec 2024. I saw a physiotherapist in KL and I was making slow progress as I was also in the process of taking on a new role and moving to HK. I even seeked the help of a new physiotherapist as referred by my personal trainer but with only 2 weeks until my move, I was feeling pretty frustrated with the whole issue. The discomfort and pain was further exacerbated through the move and long hours working and sitting, it got to a point I was feeling rather helpless.
This all changed when I found Momentum through social media and met Dr Ken, he took the time to understand my issue, checked with my previous physiotherapist and diagnosed my issue with both an active and recovery remediation plan. I regained my full range of motion in a matter of weeks which was a big challenge as I’m traveling intensively and have a predominantly desk bound job. With my prescribed protocol and Dr Ken’s I’m able to manage my knee pain mindfully despite my occupational challenges, I can’t thank Dr Ken and Momentum enough! - Rachel Choo
FAQ
How is this different from physiotherapy I've had elsewhere?
The biggest difference is the assessment and the standard of care approach — our physiotherapists take the time to properly investigate the cause of your pain, rather than treating symptoms generically, which is what leads to a more accurate diagnosis and a more effective plan. The ongoing care model is different due to how we communicate, and support is integrated so you not only get the insight of your primary physiotherapist, but also from our principal physiotherapist.
What conditions do you treat?
A wide range of pain and injury presentations — back and neck pain, joint pain, muscle strains, post-injury recovery, and persistent issues that haven't resolved with or without previous treatment.
Do I need a referral to book?
Yes — if you want to claim via insurance. If you do not have insurance, then you can book directly with our team.
Will I get lasting relief, or just temporary treatment?
Our approach is built around identifying and addressing the underlying cause, not just providing temporary symptom relief — so the goal is a lasting result, with a clear plan for what happens after your pain resolves.
