What is momentum move?

Our classes are for those looking for an active and comprehensive way to futureproof, refuel and rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit. Each class has been designed by our clinical and wellness team using a structured framework to create an optimally integrated movement experience. Whether it be between training sessions, post competition, stress relief, a mental escape, or to manage symptoms of a chronic health condition; these classes are just for you. Come trial a first session with us and see how it can really work for you.

our available class format

Our classes are delivered in a small group setting (8 people max per class) by our Head of Physical Medicine, Kevin, a physiotherapy-trained movement specialist who practises what he preaches. Each class has been designed to maximise your body’s ability to self heal, move more freely, and improve stability and control throughout your daily life.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Come ready for a challenge. We have everything you need equipment wise, however you are welcome to bring your own yoga mat, mobility ball, or stretch band. We have a water dispenser on site if you need to top up your bottle for class. If it’s your first time joining us at Momentum, please arrive 10-15 minutes early so you can set up your Momentum account with us. It will also give you a chance to meet other Momentum members and our team, where you are welcome to ask any questions you may have. This is especially important if it’s your first time doing one of our Joint Nutrition and Mobility classes, as it will give us a great opportunity to meet you and find out if there are any particular issues that we should be aware of to maximise your experience with us.

kinstretch (60 minute class)

Led by Kevin, Head of our Physical Medicine Department, this class combines clinical theory with mobility training to form a holistic joint health training experience that will help you physically prepare for challenges not just in sport, but daily life. These classes involve continuous motion, motor control learning and a new mindset towards body awareness, as we look to focus more on the self-education component during these health classes.
