What is different about our stretch therapy service?

Our stretch sessions are an evidence based therapeutic modality that is a complete and pain-free table and mat-based stretching method. The session focuses on achieving foundational and optimal flexibility by restoring joint space and reducing muscle tightness needed for your activities of daily living. Healthcare practitioners have always advised people to exercise, eat well, sleep well, and to stretch as a great way to invest in our physical and mental health.

Our Mo Therapeutic Stretching Method is a combination of various techniques, and combined with our Momentum Method of care to optimise both your health and performance, you can use our Stretch Therapy service in both our Relieve (Pain Management) and Restore (Foundation Training and Recovery) as your entry point with us. The session still has a holistic focus like our other consults and sessions, so we include education about your physical, mental, nutritional and social wellbeing.

 

Who will benefit from our professional stretching service?

Active individuals (who train 3-5 x per week)

  • Will help speed up your physical recovery before your next session

  • Or weekend warriors who push hard only a couple of days per week (e.g. hikers, gym goers)

stretch therapy session (60/90/120 MINUTES)

Our sessions include an active stretch method that can be used for recovery, or before a training session, to help release muscle tension, and joint stiffness. It is great if you are looking to give your whole body a more general ‘once over’, or if you want to be more site specific (1-2 locations on the body) because of a specific issue. In addition to our session, we will provide you with a personalised stretch flow to follow at home, for continual progression.
